Friday Find: Best Of – Wedding Apps

Technology has changed our lives drastically in the past few years, and wedding planning is no exception!  We hope this list of wedding apps will ease your planning pains and keep you on track to being a (somewhat) stress-free bride!

1. Google Apps (Free on Google Play and iOS)

Google Apps

They key to getting through planning a wedding without losing your mind is organization.  Google Drive has a whole arsenal of apps that can help you stay on track.

Google Docs:  Great for running to-do lists.
Google Sheets:  Amazing for creating spreadsheets to track guests, gifts, and your registry.
Google Calendar:  Lets you know where you’re headed when.  Additionally, you can invite other people to your events which makes coordinating with bridesmaids a breeze!

2. GroupMe (Free on Google Play and iOS)

With both a desktop and mobile interface, GroupMe allows you to place individuals (such as your bridesmaids, parents of the bride and groom, relatives, etc.) in group chats with ease.  You can nickname your chats so they’re easier to find, and they’ll keep your regular text inbox free of clutter.

3. WeddingHappy – Wedding Planner (Free on iOS)

WeddingHappy takes the stress out of wedding planning by customizing your to-do list based on your wedding date, tracking your budget, and calendar support.

4. Pinterest (Free on Google Play and iOS)

While Pinterest is a great for wedding inspiration and ideas, it can also create unrealistic expectations for your wedding day.  When we talk about Pinterest as a wedding planning app, we mean utilizing the mobile app to harvest things that inspire you when you’re out in the world.  Pinterest allows you to create boards and pins with pictures from your camera roll.  So if you see something that inspires you, use Pinterest to keep all your photos in one place.  You can also check out the ACSBridalExpo Pinterest Page for inspiration!

5. Zola Wedding Registry (Free on iOS)

Zola’s Wedding Registry app allows you to update and maintain your registry from anywhere!  You can scan any barcode and add items to your registry, get real-time notifications when you receive a gift, and you’re able to personalize your registry with photos and notes to your guests.

6. Appy Couple (App: Free on Google Play and iOS | Design Packages start at $39.00)

Appy Couple is a multi-interface (cloud, web, and app) application that allows you to design and customize your unique wedding website.  With a wide-range of features (address collection, RSVP, photo sharing and instant messaging, to name a few) and sleek designs, Appy Couple keeps you and your guests connected and organized.

Please note that while the app is free, you must purchase the design of your website.  There are three pricing tiers – Boutique Collection ($39), Luxury Collection ($89), and Custom (variable).

7. Wedding Party (Free on Google Play and iOS)

Similar to Appy Couple, Wedding Party allows you to communicate with guests, share photos, and manage your registry.  What sets Wedding Party apart is definitely the photo booth feature.  Guests can take unlimited photo booth pictures, and you can harvest all the pictures from your wedding day without having to communicate with guests individually.

8.  Eversnap (App: Free on Google Play and iOS | Packages start at $99.00)

Eversnap is the ultimate wedding photo app!  You receive 200 instruction cards for your guests so they know how to add to your wedding album, their posts livestream on a screen during your event, and if you have a custom hashtag, Eversnap will harvest the photos for you!
